Sailing
Sailing writing
As I woke up I remembered that I was going sailing at Okahu Bay, so I went to go get ready.
When I was ready I was getting so impatient because Hope was doing her hair AGAIN.
#“ Come on Hope I need to get to school for sailing, “ I said, “ just be patient “ Hope replied but I shouted
, “ I CAN’T BE PATIENT OR ELSE I’LL BE LATE FOR SAILING “. When Hope finished, we rushed to
school when we got there I saw my best friend Solomone. I said “ HELLO “ he replied “ HELLO “. We
went back to class and waited until we were told to go when the bell rang Mrs. Ness Kairua told us that
we had to get picked into groups so we can have a ride. I got picked into Josaia’s group but then she
picked all of our friends, THE WHOLE GROUP was together. When we arrived at Okahu Bay, there
were three people waiting for us, their names were Justin, Steve, and Donica ( their our instructors ).
Steve explained what we’re doing after he explained we had morning tea. After morning tea, Steve and
Justin gave us wetsuits so that we could get wet without our own clothes. When we put our wetsuits
they told us to wear these lifejackets so we could float on the water. Once we were ready Mrs. Ness
Kairua picked our partners. I got picked with Laurence, after getting picked with partners we got our
boats then we went sailing. It was pretty exciting going sailing because the waves would rock you and
everything else about sailing was fun. Laurence and I kept on pranking each other and putting our hands
in the water. When we arrived with the others at the gate everyone started tipping over and getting wet.
When we were playing we had to go to lunch so we went back to the shore. Once we finished we got
two options one of the options were capsizing ( which is learning how to get back on your boat when you
tip over ) and the other was going for rides around the bay. I chose to go for rides because I thought it
would be fun. When we got onto the docks we saw a boat with WHEELS it was like a car that could go
in the water. Once the boat arrived we went for rides, it was fun looking everywhere. Danica even let us
swim, but I stayed on the boat for some reason I just didn’t feel like swimming. Once we finished our
ride we went back so we could go back to school.
