The blessing of Rm 1

Today, all of the school, teachers, family, and Father went to room 1 at 10:00 am, for the blessing of Rm 1. When we arrived, Rm 1 and 7 had already been waiting for us. One of the teachers told us to sit down and wait for the other classrooms.  When the other classrooms arrived two of the Rm 7 kids started to read their papers. When they finished, we sang our school prayer. Then Father started to read his paper and then he handed the Holy water to Jasmine and Valentine. My favorite part was when the children were following Father and tossing holy water onto us. Little kids were shouting and screaming when they got showered in holy water. When we finished we went outside into the shade to eat lemonade ice blocks.
